Dasani Bottle for Coca-Cola North America (at Niagara Bottling)
Objective: Design a new bottle for the Dasani brand. The bottle needs to be unique, well-performing at a lighter weight than the incumbent, and capture Dasani's brand identity
Details:
•Worked and communicated continuously with the internal and external customers to finalize product specifications
•Design iterations of the bottle for customers’ brand team's approval
•Lead simulation endeavor to ensure bottle meets top load and feel stiffness, along with injection molding simulation for preform validation (Simulation is not shown here for confidentiality)
•Prototyped bottle to ensure functionality (blow molding) and aesthetic validation (3D Printing)
•Collaborated with the legal team on patents, co-inventor at design patents (USD939353S1)

Multifunctional Wrench (At Grand Valley State University)
Objective: As part of teaching at junior level manufacturing operation class; designed a multifunctional wrench and generated G code for machining it.
Details:
•Designed a multifunctional wrench with tabs attached for machining at CNC
•Generated G-Code for machining at 5-axis Shark CNC machine
•Machining the piece with tabs attached, then cut and debarred for use
•Discussed the design ideation/brainstorming process with the student
•Mentored the student on CAD and G-Code generation for their own design
•Demonstrated CNC machine setup and operation for the manufacturing
